Mistral a Transit
Smlouva byla uzavřena pro konstrukci licenčních vozidel "Mistral coach" a "Transit bus" - vše v různých délkách na podvozcích SB 4000, SB 230 a SBR 230 z VDL Bus International. Výroba bude zahájena pod bedlivým dohledem VDL. Vozidla budou prodávána na ruském trhu pod značkou VDL Bus/NEFAZ Mistral a VDL Bus/NEFAZ Transit.
NEFAZ
NEFAZ vyrábí nákladní vozy, nástavby, autobusy a autokary - těch je ročně cca 1.200. Většina je prodána na ruském trhu. NEFAZ na jižním Uralu v Bashkortostanu zaměstnává 10.000 lidí.

Agreements were made for the construction under licence of the Mistral coach and the Transit bus, both products in various lengths. For this purpose chassis modules SB 4000, SB 230 and SBR 230 from VDL Bus International are to be supplied. The construction of the first few licensed buses will be intensively supervised by a large number of employees from various VDL operations. The new buses and coaches are to be sold on the Russian market under the name VDL Bus/NEFAZ Mistral and VDL Bus/NEFAZ Transit.

NEFAZ makes trailers, tankers, tipper cargo bodies, buses and coaches. The annual production of buses and coaches is around 1,200 units. The vast majority of them are sold on the Russian market. A total of 10,000 people are employed at NEFAZ. NEFAZ is based in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan in the south of the Urals.
Member of the Russian Federation for 450 years
Next year the Republic of Bashkortostan celebrates the fact that it has been a member of the Russian Federation for 450 years. As part of this celebration President Murtaza Rakhimov wants to provide his republic with more modern coaches and buses. A number of new VDL Bus/NEFAZ buses and coaches are intended for this celebration. For this reason President Murtaza Rakhimov was in Eindhoven on 12 July 2006 with a government delegation to seal the signing of the licence agreement between VDL Bus & Coach and NEFAZ.

Licence agreement between VDL Bus & Coach and NEFAZ
On 12 July 2006, at the head office of VDL in Eindhoven (NL), an agreement was signed by VDL Bus & Coach and the Russian bus and coach manufacturer NEFAZ. This agreement enables NEFAZ to build under licence a number of VDL Bus & Coach products for the Russian market. These products include both coaches and city and regional buses.Mistral and Transit
