(CZ+EN) Austria: a new market for FAST EUROPE
(CZ+EN) Austria: a new market for FAST EUROPE
Louvain, January 21.1.2008 Společnost FAST nabízí jak svoje výrobky - autobusy Scoler, Starter a Syter, tak i mini a midibusy tureckého Otokaru (v ČR zastupuje společnost Buzola). Karosář spolupracuje
se společností MAN.
To turn this challenge into a true success, FAST EUROPE -- FAST’s Belgium-based subsidiary – has provided the means to achieve its ambitions.
The fi rst step is a solid sales force, grounded in the drivers’ environment. At its head, Mr. Lutz Steingraf (formerly with Irisbus), is putting his long-term experience and knowledge to the service of the brand’s ambitious, yet realistic, objectives.
Next, FAST EUROPE recognised from the outset the importance of creating high-level partnerships. After-sales service will be ensured by a partner network of independent mechanics, who are experienced in and motivated for customer service. The agreements reached with “heavyweight” MAN will make it possible to respond well to all customer demands. Supply of replacement parts has not been forgotten, of course. The set-up of a depot in Austria will achieve a double objective: cost reduction – by reducing transportation costs – and fast delivery.
Finally, FAST EUROPE can count on its high-quality, tried-and-tested product range. This naturally includes its own production– with the Scoler, Starter and Syter buses—but also that of Turkish constructor Otokar, which has been involved in the mini- and midi- bus markets for almost 40 years.
All of these products perfectly meet the demanding conditions of the public transport, school transport and tourism sectors: low cost, both in purchase and maintenance; maximum safety, taking the most stringent criteria into account; design simplicity and solidity, to ensure a superior average lifespan; and, last but not least, multi-usage.
FAST will begin operating in Austria as of January 10, 2008.
