Belgický výrobce autobusů Van Hool uzavřel kontrakt s Souter Holdings Poland na dodávku 50 meziměstských autokarů jako součást expanze sítě PolskiBus.com. PolskiBus.com poskytuje meziměstské dopravní služby v Polsku, střední a východní Evropě, umožňující cestovat v regionu rychle, pohodlně a levně. Je to druhý kontrakt s Souter Holdings Poland: již dříve v tomto roce bylo dodáno 18 autokarů Altano (tzv. polopatro). První dodávky nového kontraktu jsou plánovány od letošního října. Od června 2012 budou všechny nové vozy v provozu u PolskiBus.com. Kontrakt Van Hool oznámil v rámci veletrhu Busworld v Belgii.

PolskiBus.com zaznamenal od svého uvedení na dopravní trh v červnu 2011 úspěch, během prvních 4 měsíců více než 175000 cestujících. Současná flotila 18 autokarů se rozroste na 68, všechny EURO 5. 50 nových vozů nabízí cestujícím Wi-Fi internet zdarma, klimatizaci, přístup pro vozíčkáře, toaletu, kožené sedačky s tříbodovými pásy a přípojkami 240 V.

Zakázka je složena z 30 autokarů Altano a 20 Astromega. Vozy budou postaveny v závodě Koningshooikt v Belgii

Van Hool delivers 50 extra coaches to Poland

Van Hool, independent manufacturer of buses, coaches and industrial vehicles, has concluded a contract with Souter Holdings Poland for the delivery of 50 new intercity coaches as part of the expansion of the PolskiBus.com network. PolskiBus.com provides an inter-city transportation network in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, allowing users to travel throughout the region in a quick and comfortable way, at a very low price. This is the second contract for Van Hool with Souter Holdings Poland : Earlier this year,already18 Altano coaches have been delivered. The first deliveries of the new contract are sheduled for November this year. By June 2012, all new vehicles will be in operation in the PolskiBus.com network, which will also significantly expand. Van Hool announced this important order at Busworld 2011 (Kortrijk), the biennial professional trade fair for all the latest developments wrt. buses and coaches.

The success of PolskiBus.com, newly launched in June this year, is evident: during the first four months more than 175,000 passengers used the network. The existing fleet of 18 buses will be extended to 68 vehicles, all of them meeting the latest Euro 5 emissions standards. The 50 new coaches offer passengers free Wi-Fi access, air-conditioning, easy access for wheelchair users, toilet, comfortable leather seats with three point belts and fitted with 240-volt charging points for laptops and mobile phones.

This important order for Van Hool comprises 30 Altano coaches and 20 Astromega coaches. The vehicles will be built in the Van Hool plant in Koningshooikt, Belgium.
