VDL Bus & Coach představí poprvé Citea CLE 137-360. Na UITP 2009 ve Vídni avizovala společnost minimálně tři nové délkové varianty městského a příměstského autobusu Citea CLE (Low Entry). K dvounápravovému 12 m CLE 120 přibudou v roce 2010 tři varianty: dvounápravový 12.9 m CLE 129, třínápravový 13.7 m CLE 137 a třínápravový 14.5 m CLE 145.

Tradičně rozsáhlá expozice VDL Bus & Coach na téměř "domácím" veletrhu bude umístěna v hale 4 (stánek 403) a na volné ploše - obvykle sousedící s pavilonem. K obrázku Citey CLE 120 v exteriéru, která byla v TZ, přidáváme záběry CLE 120 z UITP Vienna pořízené BUSportálem.

VDL Bus & Coach world premiere at Busworld 2009

VDL Bus & Coach will present the Citea CLE 137-360 for the first time at Busworld 2009. In June of this year, at the UITP 2009 in Vienna, VDL Bus & Coach announced no fewer than three new length variants of the Citea CLE (Low Entry), a city and regional bus with a lowered entry step.
In addition to the CLE 120 (2-axles - 12 metres), three new length variants will become available in 2010: the CLE 129 (2-axles - 12.9 metres), the CLE 137 (3-axles - 13.7 metres) and the CLE 145 (3-axles - 14.5 metres). With this expansion of its offerings, VDL Bus & Coach can provide a complete range of low entry vehicles. These new offerings also represent another step towards the perfection of the new generation of VDL Bus & Coach public transport buses, the first of which – the Citea CLF (Low Floor) – was introduced in 2007.

Hall 4 – stand 403
The VDL Bus & Coach stand is located in hall 4.
Among the VDL Bus & Coach products on display are the following:

• Synergy SDD 141-460: a double-decker with a length of 14.1 metres, in an 81+2+1 person version.
• Magiq MHD 139-460 Magnum: a 14-metre vehicle with a 58+1+1 person configuration.
• Jonckheere JSD 122-410: a vehicle with a length of 12.2 metres, in a 44+1+1 person version.
• Axial ASD 129-365: a luxury coach with a length of 12.9 metres and seating for 55+1+1, constructed on the SB 4000+ MX chassis module.
• Futura FHD 127-365: the leader among the Futuras, in a 53+1+1 person version. Particularly renowned due to its low net weight and high fuel efficiency.
• Citea CLE 137-360: the new length variant in the CLE (Low Entry) range. With a length of 13.7 metres, including 46+1 seats (3 of which can fold away) and standing room for 73.
• Citea CLF 120-310: the low floor city bus from VDL Bus & Coach. Built with seating for 28+1 and standing room for 68. A completely flat floor, high degree of modularity, compact dimensions and great manoeuvrability make the Citea CLF suitable for any type of service.
• MidCity MLF 76-110: a mini public transport bus, built on a Volkswagen Crafter chassis and built with seating for 15+1 (2 of which can fold away) and standing room for 7. Room for up to 3 wheelchair places (instead of 6 seats). By combining the low floor construction with an increased wheel base, even more standing room and space for wheelchairs can be created.
• Lexio LLD 130-365: the multipurpose bus from VDL Bus & Coach, with a length of 13 metres, in a 63+1+1 person configuration with 27 standing places.
• Futura FLI 127-365: the Intercity Edition, a special model within the Futura range, suitable for both short- and long-distance operation. Serves as an economical all-rounder. Equipped with seating for 57+1.

Outdoor exposition area
The following VDL Bus & Coach products will be shown in the outdoor area:

• Ambassador ALE 120-225: A low-floor bus with an innovative, lightweight construction, specially designed for the demanding conditions of city and regional transport. Exceeds the EEV emission standard. Includes seating for 38+1 plus standing room for 42.
• Citea CLF 120-310: this is one of the Citeas included in the mega-order for 518 city buses placed by our client RTA of Dubai. Constructed in the special client version.
• Taxi/wheelchair bus: a mini bus constructed on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis, specially outfitted for the transport of disabled passengers.
• MidCity MLF 69-130: a mini public transport bus, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, with 11 fixed seats, 3 folding seats, 1 wheelchair place and standing room for up to 8 persons.
• MidEuro MLD 73-160: a mini public transport bus, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, with luxury interior and seating for 16+1.
• MidEuro MLD 77-160: an extended version, configured as a school bus, with seating for 22+1.
• Jonckheere JSD 140-460: fully outfitted as a VIP coach, with meeting and lounge compartments equipped with all the essential luxury conveniences.
• Phileas: A high-quality public transport system that combines the positive aspects of a tram or metro system with the flexibility and low exploitation costs of a bus system. The Phileas can best be compared to a tram on tyres with virtual rails. Equipped with a parallel-hybrid drive.
